Design concept
This project is aimed at creating a harmonious bathroom that combines elements of modern design and natural materials. The aim is to create a calm, functional and aesthetic environment that is both cosy and elegant.
Description of the proposal
1. Zones and layout
The bathroom is divided into functional zones, with the design respecting both practical needs and aesthetic requirements:
- The sink zone: Dominated by a wooden counter with a distinctive round mirror. The black sink combined with the natural texture of the wood creates an elegant contrast.
- Bathing area: the bathtub is set in a space with dark panelling, giving a modern and sophisticated look.
- Storage: integrated shelves, closed cabinets and minimalist decoration ensure a clean and organised space.
2. Materials and colour palette
- Tiles: light ceramic wall tiles create a clean and light space.
- Wood: The solid wood used for the counter and decorations adds to the natural character of the room.
- Metal: Matte black details (faucet, sink) add contrast and a modern look.
- Natural elements: bamboo decorations and pebbles around the bathtub promote a relaxing atmosphere.
- Greenery: Live plants in ceramic pots bring freshness and add to the natural aesthetic.
3. Light and atmosphere
- Daylight: A window with a simple curtain lets in natural light that illuminates the entire space.
- Artificial lighting: a modern pendant light above the washbasin and ceiling spotlights provide ample lighting for all daily activities.
- Atmospheric lighting: LED backlighting in the shelves and soft light around the bamboo elements contribute to a relaxing environment.
4. Decoration and details
- Minimalism: use of simple lines and a limited amount of decoration to promote a calm and clean impression.
- Contrast: the combination of dark and light surfaces adds visual dynamism.
- Natural motifs: plants, bamboo and natural colours create a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.
